This side garden is narrow with a North /South aspect.

 

It provides access to the property and the back garden, is used for

storage of wood/coal for the fire and to collect household rubbish for disposal and recycling.

The design uses angles to 'widen' the area and a small shed has been added at the end which helps fore-shorten the site.  The paving gives easy access to the property and wheelbarrow access to the rear.

The plants are largely evergreen. They will screen the fence in time and provide all year round interest.
