Small Back Garden
Low Budget Solution
The patio is set at an angle to link the curves of the garden with the straight lines of the building. Curves are used to give a sense of flow and movement.
Starting with a fairly blank canvas the client had
several things on the
‘wish list’ but didn’t know where to start and how to bring them all together.
The weeds in the original lawn were largely clover and broad leaved weeds and can easily be brought under control with the appropriate herbicide and fertiliser.
The Plan
A place to sit in the shade with fragrant climbing plants to cover the pergola. A solar powered water feature will be positioned in the gravel in
the warmer months.
