Every garden is different and everyone's requirement for help in the garden is different.

 

Weekly or fortnightly gardening jobs undertaken include lawn mowing and edging, weeding, dead heading, clearing fallen leaves and sweeping paths.

 

Monthly gardening jobs include pruning, cutting down perennials, planting, weeding and taking cuttings.

 

Seasonal  garden care jobs undertaken  include, cutting back plants that have finished performing for the season, pruning and shaping plants,  dividing and lifting plants, clearing patios and paths, cleaning greenhouses, cleaning tools, cleaning seed trays and pots, general garden maintenance and plant care.  Spring and autumn are the usual times for general tidying up and plant maintenance.

 

Occasional or ‘one-off’ requirements include the creation of beds and borders, renovation or regeneration of existing beds, renewal pruning, laying or seeding new lawns and the removal of plants and shrubs that have outgrown their allotted space.

 

Sourcing specific plants can be a problem  but Growing Designs has contacts with specialist and trade plant nurseries so there is a good chance of finding just the plants you are looking for whether it is a specimen plant or a quantity of reasonably priced small plants.

General garden maintenance is charged at £10 per hour or fixed fees can be arranged for specific jobs.
